Vera contributes significantly to the music community and nonprofit culture by creating a supportive environment that nurtures and encourages young and emerging musicians, artists, and community organizers. Young people who love music and the arts become adults who love music and the arts, building a community of arts advocates that are vibrant and inspired. Supporting the Vera Project supports the development of culture in Seattle and beyond.

Vera embarks on this bold campaign as a crucial step in the organization’s commitment to enriching the lives of Seattle area youth through top-notch music and education programming. The new venue will allow Vera to expand programming and engage new communities. A combination of public, private, and foundation support will help the Vera Project achieve its dream of a venue that will be large enough and flexible enough to serve generations of young people in the Seattle area. With a highly talented staff team, an engaged and skilled group of volunteers, and a truly committed Board of Directors, the Vera Project is rising to the challenge of this landmark campaign. Time is of the essence. Construction begins in Spring 2006. We need your support now to build the new Vera Project.
